Science Fair Foundation Seeks Executive Director

We are the Science Fair Foundation of British Columbia (SFFBC), a sound and successful non‐profit, charitable organization that supports and promotes science fair activity in 14 regions of the province. It isrecognized as the most successful Science Fair delivery organization in Canada, with a delivery model copied by other provinces.
Through the efforts of SFFBC and its volunteers, every year over 30,000 Kindergarten to Grade 12 students from Dawson Creek to Port Hardy to Surrey are given the unique opportunity to demonstrate hands‐on scientific research or innovative projects which are then displayed at regional, national and international levels of competition. By partnering with local science and technology agencies a diverse array of mentorship, networking, and community programs are implemented.
The Executive Director is retiring, thereby presenting an opportunity for a new person to take over theleadership of this exciting organization. With the support of a committed Board, the new Executive Director will expand the reach and impact of Regional Science Fairs by supporting, motivating and facilitating the 14 Regional volunteer organizations.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic individual who has strong leadership andadministrative abilities and a passion for science education.
